Holy Cross women's rowing

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team hosted the ECAC National Invitational Championship this weekend on Saturday and Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond with the final events scored this afternoon.
The women's varsity eight boat competed in the petite final, finishing second with a time of 7:06.593. The U.S. Coast Guard earned a first-place finish with a time of 7:05.371. The second varsity eight boat placed fifth in their race with a time of 7:53.729, while Williams earned the first-place finish with a time of 7:28.553. The Crusaders' third varsity eight boat earned a third-place finish in the petite final with a time of 7:29.404, behind Williams College that earned first (7:06.689) and second (7:26.503) place finishes. The women's novice eight boat placed fourth in the grand final race with a time of 7:51.485.
The Crusaders will return to action when they travel to Camden, N.J. for the IRA National Rowing Championship June 5-7.
