Boston, MA - Jamie Schroeder continued his triumphant ergometer rampage through international and national team competition. Schroeder was the first Collegiate/International double champion in 2002. This past Sunday, Jamie defended his double championship in Boston, MA. Unprecedented in accomplishment, Schroeder is carving out a permanent 'Hammer' (Champion's Award) in his honor. Coach Craig Amerkhanian is pleased not only for Jamie but also "the long-term impact on the culture of Stanford Crew and the validation of our training process." Coach Amerkhanian is also pleased in regards to Jamie and his National Team racing partners: "The U.S. had an outstanding day."
