Kristen Hayes earned all-conference honors.

Elmwood, NJ - The Adelphi University women's bowling team traveled to Elmwood Park, New Jersey for the Northeast Women's Collegiate Bowling Conference (NEWCBC) individual championships. Freshman Kristen Hayes entered the event ranked first and ended up 11th out of 45 competitors.

For her play during the season Hayes was selected to receive honorable mention honors by the coaches of the NEWCBC, the first time that an Adelphi bowler has earned all-conference honors. Hayes entered entered the match play portion of the event second after rolling a three game score of 535. She followed this effort by rolling 157, 146, 155, 214, and 191 games on way to her 11th place finish.

The Panthers closed out the season with a record of 66-67 overall and placed second at the ECAC championships.
