CSTV Logo

CSTV Networks, Inc. is the first multimedia network dedicated exclusively to college sports 24 hours a day. It consists of CSTV, a digital television service seen in more than 21 million homes via cable and satellite, and CSTV.com, which includes a network of approximately 215 official college athletic websites.

CSTV was founded in 1999 by Brian Bedol and Stephen D. Greenberg, co–founders of Classic Sports Network, and Chris Bevilacqua, a former Nike executive. CSTV officially launched in April 2003 from the network's New York City based Chelsea Piers Studio, the Field House. In January 2006, CSTV was purchased by CBS Corporation and became the 24–hour college sports network from CBS Sports.

CABLE NETWORK

CSTV annually televises thousands of hours of original programming, features, talk shows and documentaries, as well as more women's sports coverage than any other network. Its regular season and championship event programming includes coverage of NCAA Division's I, II, and 3, featuring over 35 men's and women's college sports, in addition to nine NCAA championships. The network also holds multi–media and marketing rights for the Mountain West Conference, the Atlantic 10 Conference, Conference USA, the Big West Conference, the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Navy athletics.

Other CSTV properties include the Collegiate Nationals, the mtn.– Mountain West Sports Network and MaxPreps. The Collegiate Nationals is a first–of–its kind event that annually showcases more collegiate championships than any where else, and brings together athletes from nearly 100 different colleges and universities across the country. MaxPreps, the nationís leading online high school sports network, was acquired by CSTV in March 2007. Created by CSTV, the mtn. is the first network solely dedicated to one college conference, featuring wall–to–wall coverage of the Mountain West Conference. Together with Comcast, CSTV launched the mtn. in September 2006.
