CSTV's The #1 College Sports Show Brings The Princeton Review's Best 361 Colleges, 2007 Edition Rankings To Television

NEW YORK (August 22, 2006) - CSTV: College Sports Television will produce and air a special program dedicated to The Princeton Review's Best 361 Colleges, 2007 Edition rankings, the best-selling college guidebook which will be available for sale in bookstores beginning today.  The Best 361 Colleges is an annual comprehensive college survey compiled by The Princeton Review, and for the first-time CSTV will exclusively bring these rankings to television with a myriad of features, interviews and analysis. 

 

CSTV will air the one-hour program as a special edition of the network's weekly studio show The #1 College Sports Show.  The Princeton Review's Rob Franek joins CSTV's Greg Amsinger and Adam Zucker to host the show, which will air Wednesday, August 30 at 10 p.m. ET.  Select segments from the show will also be made available via podcast immediately after the show airs at www.CSTV.com.

Best 361 Colleges, 2007 Edition is one of more than 200 Princeton Review books published by Random House.  Its two-page narrative profiles on each college also have school ratings (numerical scores) based on institutional data from the colleges.  Among them are ratings for admissions selectivity, financial aid and fire safety.  The first edition of the book was published in 1992.  No school has ever paid a fee to be in the book.
