CSTV Fantasy Bowl

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

This promotion begins at 10:00 a.m. (ET) on December 8, 2005 and ends at 11:59 p.m.(ET) on January 4, 2006 (the "Promotion Period"). There will be two separate groups of participants competing in the promotion. All league champions from the CSTV College Fantasy Football Leagues will be invited to join a Champions League upon registration for this Fantasy Bowl Game and will compete for prizes to be awarded to the winners of that league as specified under "Prizes" below. All participants will have the opportunity to create or join other existing leagues and will compete for another set of prizes to be awarded to the game overall winners. Only confirmed CSTV College Fantasy Football League champions will be eligible for Champions League prizes. All participants will be eligible to win overall game prizes. Therefore if the winner of the Champions League also wins the overall competition they will be eligible to receive both prize packages. A participant not in the Champions League can't, under any circumstances, win the Champions League prize.

How to Play the Game:
You may play the CSTV College Football Bowl Game Challenge on-line starting at 10:00 a.m.(ET) on December 8, 2005 and ending at 11:30 p.m.(ET) on January 4, 2006 by visiting the web page located on-line at www.cstv.com/fantasy . All entrants must be a registered CSTV Fantasy user. There is no cost to enter.

1. General. Teams are assigned a rating value based on 2005 performance, (the "Player Ratings"). Entrants must select six (6) teams to form a complete active roster while staying under the specified team rating limit of one hundred twenty (120) credits. Teams that exceed the team rating limit or do not field a complete roster will receive no points. Points are awarded following each College Football Bowl game played between December 20, 2005 and January 4, 2006 (see Scoring System below).

2. How to make your selections. You may enter your selections online by following the Game instructions.

3. Scoring. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be the participants that accumulate the most points during the Promotion Period. In the event any scheduled College Football Bowl game listed does not occur as scheduled (e.g., the game is cancelled, postponed, etc.) no points will be awarded. Ties will be broken in accordance with the tie-breaker procedure below.

4. Scoring System. The statistical categories that count in The Game are Passing Yards (Pass), Rushing Yards (Rush), Passing Touchdowns (PTD), Rushing Touchdowns (RTD) and Wins (Wins):

Note: You will receive points based on the above outlined scoring system but only for scoring type related to the position in which a team is slotted. A team placed in one of the Passing positions will only receive points for passing related performance. A team placed in one of the Rushing positions will only receive points for rushing related performance. A team in the Defensive position will only receive points for defensive related performance. A team in the Coach position will only receive points based on wins. This means, for instance, that if a Passing slotted team rushes for a touchdown no points will be rewarded or if a Rushing slotted team passes for a touchdown no points will be rewarded.

5. Game Management: Contestants will be responsible for editing their team selections to remain within the credits limit.

6. Lock-time. All rosters will lock at 5:00 PM ET on December 20, 2005 and must be submitted, received and recorded by the scheduled lock-time. Selections submitted after the deadlines are considered invalid. In the event of a tie, CSTV will have the right to choose the potential winner via a random drawing from all entrants that are still tied after the tiebreaker. Limit one Game Play per person/email address per week.

Eligibility:
This promotion is open to legal residents of the United States (EXCLUDING FLORIDA), age 18 years or older. Employees and immediate families or household members of CSTV, Leaderboardsports.com, ("Sponsors") and their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotions agencies, are ineligible to participate or win a prize. Sponsors reserve the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. This promotion is subject to and governed by all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations of the United States, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Prizes:
Grand Prize (1) : Slingbox from Sling Media.
The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the prize is [$200].

1st Place Prize (1) : Schutt Sports Replica Football Helmet. Winners will be able to pick a school helmet from those available in the CSTV.com Schutt Sports specialty store.

Championship League (Extension of the League Game)

  • Featured online in streaming video and/or audio segments.
  • Create a featured blog on CSTV.com
  • Receive a tour of the CSTV studios and attend a live taping of a CSTV show

    Potential winners will be notified via e-mail or telephone within three (3) business days from the end of the contest. Potential winners will be given five (5) business days from the day of issuance of such notification to respond, properly claim prize and return any required documents.

    Potential winners shall be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the value of their prize and any other expenses relating to the receipt and use of their prize. Any details of prizes not specified herein (e.g. model, color, style) are at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Prizes are provided as is with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied.

    All costs and expenses including travel and accommodations are the sole responsibility of winner. If winner cannot accept prize as stated, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Winner and guest must have valid photo identification and comply with all security requirements.

    No substitution, assignment, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute advertised prize with another prize of equal or greater value should advertised prize become unavailable for any reason. Limit one prize per family/household/address. All taxes with respect to the value of the prize, including Federal, state and local income, sales and other taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

    Odds: Odds of winning a prize depend upon number of eligible entries received.
    Odds of winning the Champions League will be the number of league winners participating (no more than 300).

    Conditions of Entry:
    By entering the Game, entrants acknowledge and agree that they have read and complied with, and will be bound by, these Official Rules. Sponsors, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents (collectively, "Releasees") and any telephone network or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, any other error or malfunction, late, lost, or misdirected entries, or injury or damage to any computer or system. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.

    Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All drawings will be conducted under the supervision of CSTV. Entries are the property of the CSTV and will not be returned. CSTV reserves the right to determine the method of notification of winners. In the event of non-compliance by the winner with these Official Rules, an alternative winner may be awarded the respective prize. The prize is non-transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for cash, except that CSTV reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize is unavailable.

    CSTV, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participating in any contest, refuse to award points or prizes and require the return of any prizes if an entrant engages in conduct that CSTV deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Game or detrimental to other entrants (such improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during Game registration or prize claim, violating any condition stated herein, etc.). Entrants further acknowledge that the forfeiture of prize(s) and/or return of any prize shall in no way prevent CSTV from pursuing other avenues of recourse such as criminal or civil proceedings in connection with such conduct.

    Releasees shall not be liable for 1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by a potential winner, or 2) entries and responses to potential winner notifications which are lost, late, incorrectly completed, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part, or for computer or technical error of any kind. Prizes will be shipped to individual Prize winners within fifteen (15) days of the date a potential Prize winner's prize claim is received and verified. A non-response by a potential winner or non-receipt of notification response or required documentation during the specified period will be considered potential winner's forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the applicable pool of eligible entries. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in a disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected from the applicable pool of eligible entries. Upon request of the Sponsors, potential winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If potential winners do not do so within the time specified by Sponsors, or if such documents are returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, then disqualification may result.

    Consent and Releases:
    By participating, entrants agree that the Releasees shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Game or Sweepstakes, including entry and participation in this Game and Sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including, without limitation, any travel related hereto). All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses, injuries or death arising from or relating to this Game, and Winner's use of the prize, such entrant will indemnify Releasees from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees related thereto. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Game and Sweepstakes, as solely determined by CTV, will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. CSTV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Game and Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond their control corrupt its administration, security or proper play. CSTV further reserves the right to modify the rules of the Game and Sweepstakes for any reason. This Game and Sweepstakes shall be governed by New York law. By participating in this Game and Sweepstakes, entrants agree that New York courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Game and Sweepstakes. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsors to use Winner's name, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) and testimonials, in printed, broadcast media or new media, in perpetuity, in any manner they deem appropriate, without further compensation in connection with this Game and Sweepstakes.
