Texas Wins Big 12 Title

Texas players celebrate winning the Big 12 championship.
Despite winning the Big 12, Texas will begin its College World Series title defense without the benefit of being a national seed. Tournament action begins Friday with Florida State gunning to knock the Longhorns off their perch with the top seed for the second year in a row.
