Week of November 27: Garrett Mills School: Tulsa Sport: Football Class: Senior Position: Tight End Major: Management |
![]() |
For the second time in three years the University of Tulsa will end their season with more wins then losses. Third year head coach Steve Kragthorpe is a big part of that but this season it would be hard to look any further then tight end Garrett Mills when pinpointing the major reasons for the Golden Hurricanes' success. Mills has recorded six 100-yard receiving games this season and leads the nation’s tight ends with 943 yards and eight touchdowns - he looks like a sure fire NFL draft pick. Of course, if that doesn’t work out, the Tulsa native should be fine. This fall he was honored as a CoSida Academic All-American after pulling in a 3.9 GPA as a management major. |
